APC GALLERY IS PROUD TO OFFER OUR GLOBAL COLLECTOR BASE THIS HISTORICAL AND MUSEUM GRADE ARTWORK BY BARBARA KRUGER

Barbara Kruger (b. 1945) is one of the most influential and recognizable artists of the past five decades. Blending the bold visual language of advertising with incisive textual commentary, her work powerfully critiques consumerism, gender roles, politics, and identity. Kruger’s signature style — crisp white Futura Bold lettering set against stark red, black, or white bars — has become iconic in both the art world and popular culture.

This 2010 lithograph, You're Right and You Know It, delivers one of her classic confrontational statements with characteristic directness and irony. The bold, declarative text commands attention while inviting viewers to question power, certainty, and social agreement. Rendered in her trademark Futura font, the work exemplifies the graphic punch and intellectual bite that define Kruger’s practice.

Her unmistakable aesthetic famously influenced Supreme’s iconic box logo in the 1990s — a cultural crossover Kruger has wryly acknowledged — further cementing her impact across art, fashion, and street culture.

From a strictly limited edition of only 200, this example is numbered 129/200 and hand-signed, dated, and numbered in pencil on the verso. Very few examples of this edition appear on the secondary market, adding to its desirability.

Signed editions by Kruger have shown steady appreciation. Comparable examples of this work have recently sold with strong demand driven by renewed institutional attention and the work’s ongoing relevance in today’s cultural climate.

Kruger’s works are held in major museum collections worldwide, including The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Whitney Museum of American Art, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), and Tate Modern. She has been the subject of significant recent solo exhibitions, including Thinking of You. I Mean Me. I Mean You. at MoMA (2022–2023) and Another day. Another night. at Guggenheim Bilbao (2025).

This powerful, instantly recognizable Barbara Kruger is a smart addition for collectors seeking a bold statement piece that bridges high art, graphic design, and contemporary commentary.
