”Verdugo” (not to be confused with the later edition “Verdugo View”) was released in 2019 by Thinkspace editions.

This is an absolutely stunning work by Armstrong with all of the signature stylistic motifs that have made him one of the most exciting new artists in the contemporary art realm.

The work shows what appears to be a hillside, Southern California town at dusk.

The work is filled with all of Armstrong’s signature pallet of various hues; various shades of Green, Blue, Red and Purple are seen throughout the picturesque landscape work.

The hillside town and the dwellings pictured are dimly lit by the soft glow of yellow and orange light, set against a soft backdrop of Blue and Purple sky.

This is truly a gorgeous, early, seldom seen edition from Seth Armstrong .
