Painted in acrylics and spray paint, with a “sea foam” backdrop— the painting shows two youths (a boy and a girl), in front of a vandalized car, surrounded by two police officers (albeit jovial in appearance).
On the vehicle there are various lyrics by the band Nirvana, such as “Smells like teen spirit” and “You Know You’re Right” (two of Nirvana’s songs from their legendary catalog).
The fact that the canvas is painted in Sea Foam (Kurt Cobain’s favorite color) ties the whole painting together to what appears to be some what of a Nirvana tribute piece.
