Hailing from New York City, Jerkface has built a name for himself as one of the most innovative street artist’s in North America.

His large scale murals can be found in countless major metropolitan areas (where they usually become tourist attractions).

In addition; through his originals, screenprints and countless FALSE out exhibitions, the artist has built a solid fan base who cannot seem to get enough of the elusive New Yorker’s work (which often encompasses familiar cartoon / Disney/ movie characters in a state of juxtaposed movement or in an atmosphere of polar contrast).

In this large scale work; ”V Day” , the artist has taken the protagonist from the popular ”V is for Vendetta” series and placed him amongst a contrasting group of Stormtroopers from the omnipresent Star Wars franchise.

While the protagonist from ”V for Vendetta” is dressed in a Guy Fawkes mask, dark clothes and holds an overall sinister appearance, in fact; the Storm troopers are universally known as the enemy despite their outwardly “clean” appearance.

It is this type of contrast— one that often times is a bit more than meets the eye that has made Jerkface a living legend in the street art world.
