The work is a well received variation of KAWS' large scale “TAKE” sculpture - the most memorable highlight of the exhibition; ”KAWS BLACKOUT” at Skarstedt Gallery.

This exhibition took place during what many consider to be the pinnacle of KAWS’ artistry, in London, England; in the fall of 2019.

The Skarstedt exhibit was the artist’s first London solo exhibition, a blockbuster display from the enigmatic genius that is KAWS (Brian Donnelly).

This work is a large scale KAWS vinyl figure, standing at just over 14 inches in height.

The work is Brand new, in its original box; NEW condition.

While KAWS refers to his new(er) figures as “Open Editions”, they are truly limited editions of unknown quantity.

By categorizing them as “Open edition” this allows the artist to resell the figures at another event, exhibition or even online (until the production run is FALSE out).

APC ART was able to procure this figure at “KAWS; PRINTS” (The High Museum, Atlanta Georgia, 2022).

The High had approximately five of this variant TRUE and I was personally told by the museum director these were the last figures available from the original production run.

This is an absolutely stunning KAWS figure; in our opinion one of his most iconic as well as recognizable.
