*”Slippery Mickey”* is a monumental one-of-one collaborative original by Slawn and OPAKE, executed in acrylic and spray paint on a museum-grade maple wood panel with maple wood and aluminum supports, hand signed and titled by both artists in black paint marker.*

*Measuring an extraordinary 78.75 x 78.75 inches, this work stands among the largest and most visually commanding compositions produced by the duo for their landmark body of collaborative paintings created for the critically acclaimed “Heroes, Villains and Violence” exhibition at the Museum of Graffiti during Art Basel Miami. Only three works of this scale were executed for the exhibition.*

*This historic exhibition was conceptualized and produced by APC, working in close collaboration with Slawn and OPAKE from the earliest stages of curatorial development through installation and the execution of the opening night. The result was an unprecedented cultural moment that drew more than four thousand attendees — from leading critics and serious collectors to major figures in film, music and contemporary art, as well as the wider public — all converging to witness what has widely been described as the most talked-about exhibition of the past decade of Art Miami.*

*Slawn rarely executes works of this magnitude. At this scale the painting moves firmly into the realm of museum-grade production — a true blue-chip statement work by the artist widely referred to as the “Basquiat of the 21st century.” The other two paintings of this size were acquired by internationally recognized celebrity collectors and will remain in private hands.*
