Hailing from Australia, Mark Drew has cultivated an unparalleled collector base with his screen prints and paintings that juxtapose ”Peanuts” characters with classic hip hop lyrics.

For this edition, Drew chose a verse from a remix of Craig Mac’s ”Flava in your ear” that features The Notorious B.I.G.

Drew’s prints are usually a mix of yellow or orange, for this edition he chose to use two shades of blue for the works, which is a welcome (and surprising) change of pace for the artist.

This print is the darker of the two blue hues (the better looking, more vibrant version in my opinion). This variant is more of a ”Royal Blue” while the other is a very light hue of blue.

The print is an edition of two hundred; one hundred of each Blue variant.

A classic Mark Drew work that incorporates an iconic piece of hip hop history and provides collectors with something new (in terms of the piece and the color variants).
