A triptych of three works, each a different color variant, shows one of Cornella’s more popular images; an often seen character in the artist’s works, a business man with a beaming smile is holding a ”Selfie stick” . Under closer inspection the viewer will notice that absent from the end of the selfie stick is the cellular phone, replaced by a hand gun.
This is a prime example of the wry, cultural commentary discussed above that encompasses Cornella’s works.
The suite of three works were relessed in
sky blue , pink and yellow colorway(s). Hand signed by the artist in graphite pencil and hand numbered from the edition of 250, this suite is sure to elicit compliments as well as conversation, wherever it is placed.
These works were published by DDT (DING DONG Takuhaibin) and FALSE out immediately upon release.
