These works were released in 2020 from an edition of only 80, they, of course, immediately FALSE out.
In fact, in order to purchase these earlier Goin releases you had to receive either an invite from the studio or a referral from an established collector.
The original painting was exhibited at the artist’s groundbreaking exhibition ”Anarchically Yours” .
Goin is a truly anonymous, French street artist who has been spraying throughout the streets of Europe and the UK since 1999.
Universally known as one of the most prolific as well as technically proficient, working street artists; Goin has had multiple solo museum exhibitions.
The artist’s work is on permanent display at the United Nations in Geneve ( ”Peacemaker” ).
This work is extremely hard to come across (especially in the United States).
The work has never been framed, it has been stored flat to archival standard.
This is an absolutely stunning work, there is simply NOTHING like the work of GOIN.
In ”Riot Darling” , what appears to be a traditional, friendly housewife is seen holding a Molotov cocktail constructed from a Moet & Chandon Imperial champagne bottle.
The portrait has been executed in black ink, in the background the figure is juxtaposed with a deep red hue.
The work has been stamped “Goin”, bottom right and has been hand signed as well as dated by the artist (over the stamp).
The work is numbered from the edition of only eighty, bottom left with the artist’s blind stamp.
