While reflecting on his now fabled ”Psalms” exhibit at Nelly Duff gallery, 2018, Smith decided it would be beneficial to create a ”Psalms 2.0” series.

He has brought us a second helping of his ”Psalms ” in the form of two varnish coated prints; one of Tomato soup and one of Baked beans; their respective branding, unmistakable, as was the case in any of Warhol’s, now classic, screen prints from his myriad of everyday brands and logos.

Smith’s ”Psalms” — the mere title displaying for his audience that he not only has a knack for effortlessly jumping from the serious to the comedic (from Cezanne’s ”The Bathers” to a bottle of Kikkoman soy sauce), from the divine to the devilish,—not only with the brilliant colored Pantone chips that effortlessly merge together to create various striking images (Smith's stylistic trademark), this Ying and Yang, Black and White, can be seen in the irony of the titles’ themselves.

Limited to an extremely low edition of 40, "Psalms" is a must for any Smith collector.
