*APC ART is pleased to present a unique, one-of-one original work by Slawn, executed in 2025 during his Miami residency in conjunction with Art Miami and the landmark exhibition “Heroes, Villains and Violence” at the Museum of Graffiti.*

This work is executed in acrylic spray paint on authentic boxing ring canvas and was cut directly from the hand-painted boxing ring that formed the physical and conceptual centerpiece of the exhibition. The canvas itself is a literal artifact of the show — not a reinterpretation, not a studio rework — but a preserved fragment of the original installation environment. As such, the work is entirely unique (1/1) and cannot be replicated.

The composition is exceptionally powerful and rare. On the left-hand side of the canvas is an original, fully realized “Minutemen” figure — Slawn’s most iconic and recognizable visual motif — rendered with raw, gestural urgency. The figure’s frenetic line work, looping forms, and instinctive mark-making embody Slawn’s visual language at its purest, evoking motion, conflict, identity, and resistance. These “Minutemen” figures have become synonymous with Slawn’s rise and are widely regarded as the cornerstone of his artistic legacy.

To the right of the Minutemen figure, Slawn has hand-signed and tagged the canvas in bold, dripping bubble letters reading “Slawn.” This graffiti-style signature is not a secondary addition or inscription — it is an integral compositional element, executed in the same performative moment as the painting itself. The juxtaposition of the Minutemen figure and Slawn’s iconic tag creates a rare convergence of character, authorship, and identity within a single work, elevating this piece far beyond a standard signed painting.

Slawn’s meteoric rise over the past several years has positioned him as one of the most important and sought-after emerging artists in contemporary art. Emerging from London’s underground scene, his work bridges street culture, fine art, fashion, and music with an immediacy and authenticity that resonates globally. His works are now held by prominent collectors, musicians, athletes, and cultural tastemakers, with consistent five-figure auction results underscoring his rapid market ascent.

This painting is inseparable from the historic Slawn & Opake exhibition at the Museum of Graffiti during Art Basel Miami 2025 — widely regarded as one of the biggest and most talked-about installations presented during Art Miami in the past 15 years. The boxing ring installation was the emotional and visual anchor of the show, and works derived directly from that ring represent the most significant and desirable objects to emerge from the exhibition.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire an original work from the actual exhibition installation featuring Slawn’s most iconic imagery — the Minutemen — combined with a bold, hand-executed “Slawn” tag, all on authentic boxing ring canvas. The work is hand-painted, hand-signed, historically significant, and entirely irreplaceable.

The work is in hand in the United States and will ship immediately. A certificate of authenticity issued by APC ART, producer of the “Heroes, Villains and Violence” exhibition, will accompany the piece, guaranteeing authenticity in perpetuity.

From both a cultural and investment standpoint, this work represents an extraordinary acquisition opportunity. It captures Slawn at a pivotal moment in his career, preserved within one of the most important contemporary art exhibitions of the decade.
