APC ART is delighted to present *Liquidated London* (2012), an extraordinarily rare complete portfolio by the internationally celebrated French urban artist ZEVS. Published by Lazarides Gallery, London, on the occasion of the 2012 London Olympic Games, this remarkable suite comprises fourteen hand-pulled silkscreen prints in colors on Arches 88 wove fine art paper, each measuring 55.5 x 35.8 cm (21.9 x 14.1 inches). Every print is hand signed by the artist in graphite pencil and inscribed “AP 6/7,” identifying this example as Artist Proof number six from only seven artist proof portfolios produced, separate from the standard edition of merely twenty complete suites. The portfolio is accompanied by its original silkscreened clamshell presentation case, cover sheet, signed publisher documentation, and all original materials as issued.

**COLLECTOR'S NOTE:** This portfolio is Artist Proof 6/7, from the highly coveted artist proof edition, separate from the standard edition of only twenty portfolios. All fourteen works remain in exceptional, as-new condition and have been stored to archival standards since publication in 2012. Importantly, the portfolio remains entirely complete as originally issued. Included are the original silkscreened clamshell presentation case, the cover sheet, the signed publisher documentation, and even the original glassine interleaving sheets used to separate and protect each print. Examples retaining every original component are extraordinarily scarce and increasingly difficult to locate. For serious collectors of contemporary urban art, this should be regarded as a true grail piece—an increasingly elusive relic from one of the most important and sought-after releases in contemporary street art publishing.

Included within the portfolio are fourteen of ZEVS' most iconic “Liquidated” compositions, featuring globally recognized corporate and Olympic imagery including Olympic Rings, London 2012, Adidas, Acer, BP, Coca-Cola, Dow Chemical, EDF, General Electric, McDonald's, Omega, Panasonic, Samsung, and Visa. Through his now legendary “Liquidation” technique, ZEVS transforms some of the world's most recognizable corporate identities into cascading streams of color, creating a powerful visual metaphor for the fragility of branding, consumer culture, and corporate influence in modern society.

Few contemporary artists have created a visual language as instantly recognizable and intellectually engaging as ZEVS. Emerging from the Paris underground in the 1990s, he quickly became one of the most influential figures in the global street art movement. His interventions challenged traditional notions of ownership, value, and commercial power long before such conversations became commonplace within contemporary art. Rather than simply appropriating logos, ZEVS deconstructed them, exposing the tension between corporate dominance and individual expression.

The *Liquidated London* portfolio is widely regarded as one of the artist's most important and ambitious print projects. Released during the London Olympic Games—an event synonymous with multinational sponsorship and global branding—the portfolio brilliantly captures the collision of art, commerce, and cultural spectacle. Each composition remains immediately recognizable while simultaneously appearing to dissolve before the viewer's eyes, creating works that are at once beautiful, humorous, subversive, and profoundly relevant.

Today, ZEVS' works are held in important private and institutional collections throughout the world. His standing within contemporary art continues to strengthen, with one of his celebrated works permanently exhibited alongside Auguste Rodin's legendary *The Thinker*, a remarkable acknowledgment of his importance within the broader history of art. Few artists have successfully bridged the worlds of street art, conceptual practice, institutional recognition, and cultural critique with the same level of sophistication and impact.

Visually, the portfolio is simply breathtaking. Viewed together, the fourteen works create a museum-quality installation that perfectly balances color, form, and concept. The dripping logos are instantly recognizable, yet transformed into something entirely new—equal parts protest, poetry, and design. The result is a body of work that feels as relevant today as it did in 2012, perhaps even more so.

From an investment perspective, opportunities such as this rarely present themselves. Collectors are not acquiring a single print, but rather an entire landmark portfolio from one of the defining figures of contemporary urban art. The combination of exceptional rarity, complete provenance, artist proof status, institutional relevance, historical significance, and immaculate preservation creates a level of desirability seldom encountered in the marketplace. Complete Artist Proof portfolios rarely change hands, and examples retaining every original component are increasingly scarce.

As major museums and institutions continue to expand their focus on post-war street art and urban contemporary movements, foundational artists such as ZEVS have become increasingly important within the broader art historical narrative. Portfolios of this caliber represent the type of material that sophisticated collectors seek out and hold for decades. In our opinion, this is one of the strongest opportunities currently available within the contemporary urban art market.

More than a collection of prints, *Liquidated London* is a landmark statement on branding, consumerism, artistic rebellion, and contemporary culture. It perfectly demonstrates why ZEVS is regarded as one of the most talented, enigmatic, intelligent, and influential street artists of all time.

As with all works offered by APC ART, we are pleased to offer archival museum-quality framing and preservation consultation services to ensure these exceptional works may be enjoyed for generations to come.
