**APC ART is pleased to present Damien Hirst — “Great Expectations” (2024), published by HENI — an absolutely iconic blue-chip work from one of the most important and influential artists alive.**

Damien Hirst needs little introduction. One of the founding pillars of the YBA movement, he permanently altered the trajectory of contemporary art with works such as *The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living* (the shark in formaldehyde), *For the Love of God* (diamond skull), the Medicine Cabinets, the Spot Paintings — and has had major institutional exhibitions at Tate, LACMA, Gagosian and beyond. His presence and influence are so vast that he has literally reshaped how the market functions in the post-2000 era. Hirst is one of the few living artists that is recognized — academically, institutionally, and commercially — as a direct pillar of contemporary art history.

“Great Expectations” exists within the universe of Hirst’s legendary NFT project *The Currency*, a project that single-handedly reshaped the relationship between physical fine art editions and blockchain provenance — a historic pivot moment in contemporary art, now written into the market’s DNA. **This image also famously appears as the official album cover for DRAKE — giving this specific Hirst piece enormous crossover cultural value, not just art-historical value.** This is the rare intersection of blue chip art + global music iconography — and it has sent demand sharply upward.

This work is the highly desired *pink* variant. Diasec-mounted archival giclée in colors on aluminum composite panel, size **80cm x 80cm x 2.8cm**, **hand-signed by Damien Hirst in blue marker** bottom right. From an edition of 746 — however each example is *technically unique*, each panel is individually produced, individually mounted, individually signed, and carries its own physical COA on reverse **signed by Hirst and stamped by HENI**. Importantly, **these were never mass stored by galleries** — most went directly to high-end collectors. These rarely surface.

The work offered here is *brand new*, in its original HENI packaging, with all provenance. It has *never* been hung, *never* been framed, and *never* been handled outside of its original protective materials.

From an investment perspective — this is a major opportunity. The crossover between fine art, blockchain history, and global pop culture (DRAKE) places this image as one of the most culturally powerful images Hirst has ever released. In a market where narrative and cultural placement drive price — this is the exact type of Hirst work that historically performs exceptionally well long-term.

**APC ART is pleased to offer archival framing options upon request.**

**OFFERED EXCLUSIVELY BY APC ART**
