Jacques Guetta (AKA Hijack) was born into a lineage of street artists.

When your father (Mr. Brainwash) is one of the most famous artist’s (and personas, for a time) in the world and with other well known artists in the family; ”Hijack” had quite a bit to live up to.

Beginning his professional art career, around 2012, the progeny of MBW left quite a splash, almost immediately in the art world.

It was not long after his first murals were completed that he was participating in group and solo exhibitions across the globe, his original works selling in the five figure range and his screen prints, selling out instantly to eager collectors.

This work; ”Dehabitation Rehabilitation” continues to echo the young artists message of the efforts needed to take steps to sustain our planet, our wildlife and our existence as human beings.

The work is a hand pulled screen print in colours with hand deckled edges, hand signed, numbered and dated with the artist’s stamp en verso.

The work shows a young boy, on a floating piece of ice, already with penguins he has presumably saved, reaching his hand out to a polar bear on another drifting piece of ice.

The work is littered with hues of of blue and yellow, making this a striking piece and a solid addition to any collection.
