Extremely iconic Connor Brothers work. The work is printed in their signature ”Pin up, book style” motif.
The work displays a well dressed, classically handsome man, in a book cover format. The subject looks nervous, as if impending doom is quickly approaching.
Smoking a cigarette, with an ashtray full of butts, the top margin exclaims; ”I DON'T KNOW ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE BUT WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND PUT MY SHOES ON I THINK CHRIST,” .
In the bottom margin, written in a stylized font; ”NOW WHAT?” .
This is a great work that in this day and age, many can identify with.
