While there has been much speculation over the past few years concerning ”Mason Storm” being the “ghost artist” behind Banksy’s ”Devolved Parliament.” ; the fact remains that Storm is an incredibly talented, self taught oil painter.
This screenprint, from 2018, titled; ”Boys in the Hood” , based on a painting by Storm once again showcases his talents..
Executed in a Norman Rockwell esque style, two young boys, dressed in Huckleberry Finn type clothing, paint a message on a fence.
After closer inspection, ”FUCK THE POLICE” the message reads, In juxtaposition of the seemingly innocent nature of the portrait.
The work is a hand pulled 19 color silkscreen print (not a digital print). It is in excellent condition, hand signed and numbered by the artist.
