The original (2013) edition of ”BK” was the first time Drew used his now, well known, Peanuts motif for an edition.

Drew did a second release of this image 2.5 years later in 2015, as well.

This is his very early (2013) “Risograph print” edition of 100.

This work was gifted to a close friend of the artist’s shortly after it was published..

From the edition of 100 (the same edition number as the print that was released two and a half years later).

For more information about “Riso” printing, check Google. A type of screen print;, a layer/ or stencil was used.

The results are quite extraordinary with these rare, Japanese printing machines.

The process allowed the young artist to release this edition of 100 to a high standard without breaking the bank.

The 2015 release is considered an extremely iconic edition but this is a true piece of Mark Drew history.

The work is in mint condition, it has been stored in a flat file, never framed snd out of the sunlight for nearly twelve years.
