”Basquiart” was published by Mr. Brainwash. in 2021, an extremely small edition of only 61; the edition quickly became one of the artist’s most valuable and sought after editions.
This is an EXTREMELY rare, UNIQUE variant, separate from the edition of 61.
The work began with the same 15 color silkscreen as the edition; a formal portrait of a man, wearing a suit and tie; his facial features have been recreated in the style of Jean Michel Basquiat .
After the silkscreen was finished, Mr. Brainwash hand painted the work with multi colored acrylics, hand signing the work en verso; ”Mr. Brainwash” .
The work is numbered 1/1 and dated 2021 with the artist’s thumbprint.
The work has been framed to archival/museum standards with a contemporary, white frame and anti uv museum glass.
This is an excellent investment piece and a truly stunning work. Wherever the piece is hung, it is sure to bring compliments (and possibly offers to buy).
