In the work a scenic, hillside landscape is seen in the forefront set against a backdrop of a sky filled with pinks and blues. This is a stunning work that will look wonderful wherever it is placed.
The work is reminiscent of Armstrong’s extremely sought after 2024 edition ”Pink is Punk” .
In addition to the artist’s trademark use of light in his work(s) (which have brought comparisons to Monet ) amongst other masters, this work seem to borrow some stylistic cues from Vincent Van Gogh ; Armstrong’s usually precise, realistic details have been replaced with flowing, dreamy brushstrokes that can be compared to Van Gogh’s “Wheat field with crows” (amongst other Van Gogh landscape works).
The work is hand signed by Armstrong in graphite pencil.
