”Absolute Brainwash” is a unique, 1/1 work, gifted to VIP’s by the artist to commemorate Art Basel, Miami, in 2011.

This work is from the era when Mr Brainwash was not only at his creative peak, he was also one of the most famous personas in the world.

A handful of these were produced for mostly celebrity collectors, to be gifted at Art Basel, 2011.

This specific piece, was, in fact owned by a well known celebrity (actor) who eventually gifted it to another friend.

The work shows a spray paint can with script that alludes to the style of Absolute Vodka .

The text on the can reads; ”This superb vodka was disilled from grain grown in the rich fields of Southern Forida” .

”It has been produced in the famous old distilleries near Miami in accordance with Art Basel Tradition. Vodka has been FALSE as a spray since 2011” .

Each work was then hand finished with a different color dripping from the can, in this case a pink hue drips down from the nozzle of the spray paint can.

The work is signed on the front in pencil; “Mr. Brainwash” and has the artist’s thumbprint as well stamped en verso (on the back).

Each work is numbered “1/1”.

This is a true, unique Brainwash work; a prime example of the artistry and style that has made Thierry Guetta one of the most iconic personas in the realm of 21st century, contemporary art.

These works RARELY are available.
